TURISTAS

Alex (Josh Duhamel), his sister Bea (Olivia Wilde) and their friend Amy (Beau Garrett) are three Americans backpacking in Brazil when their bus overturns and they get stranded on a gorgeous beach. There they meet up with some other tourists via a conveniently placed bar. After frolicking in the surf, they spend a night of heavy drinking and partying with the locals, which soon turns disastrous.

It seems that the beautiful bartenders are serving up more than just tasty drinks! The group awake the next morning (face-down in the sand no less!) to find that they have been robbed of all their possessions, passports, etc. and soon realize that they were drugged (DUH!!).

After walking to a nearby town in search of the police, they run into a local that they remember from the night before who promises to get them the help they are so desperately seeking, but little do they know, he is leading them right into the heart of Brazil’s black-market human organ trade.

Here we are with the same old situation but with a change of scenery and a slight change of plot: Americans go to a foreign country, get jacked and find themselves in the worst possible predicament. Will they survive? Will they make it home in one piece?
