REEKER
By Larra

To quote that song from Lynard Skynard: “Ooooh that smell!”

The stench rises to new levels in this original film from Dave Payne, who has taken an original story above & beyond the basic ‘cookie-cutter’ horror flick.

Take a hand-full of college kids, place them on a road-trip to a ‘Rave’ in the middle of the desert, close the main highway and insert a killer and you have a pretty decent horror film.

I know what you’re thinking; it sounds like every other horror film out there, au contraire! This one has everything you could ever want in your horror-soup and then some, including a fantastic cast of young up-and-comers that included, to my surprise, Devon Gummersall, who played “Brian Krakow” in My So-Called Life.

Not only does this film NOT hold back on the bloodshed, but it gets quite creative in the killings (I will never go within 100 ft. of a ‘port-a-potty’ again!!) as well as the killer. You may think you have it all figured out, but with plot twists galore, THE REEKER will shock you senseless!
