We all enjoy the ability to delve into the lives of someone else through a movie. Normally, it is something like a superhero, a mob boss or even a king or queen. But, how often do you get the opportunity to spend a day in the life of a sexual deviant or socio-path?

Once again, Fred Vogel and Toe-Tag Pictures bring us the sick reality that we are all secretly curious about. The second time around I was even more shocked. Free of any and all restrictions, Mordum takes us for a twisted, hand-held walk through the lives and daily daunts of three seriously fucked-up souls.

We watch them frolic in the snow, disembowel a young girl, party, mutilate themselves, attend a concert and yak on people. Totally raw and undeniably repulsive, Mordum is just plain vulgar.

As was done in August Underground, the sense of reality to what you are watching is vivid in Mordum. Paying more attention to detail and with even better effects, the Toe-Tag team bring about the true reality that is raunchy, disturbing but at the same time brutally beautiful. A true diversion from bubble-gum remakes and zombies that we have all been comfortable with, Mordum brings out the beauty amongst the violence and is undeniably in a class all by itself. This shit really takes balls!!

I shall await August Underground's Penance atop a bed of nails!!!
