MASTERS OF HORROR - "THE FAIR HAIRED CHILD"

This episode is directed by a Master of Horror I’ve never heard of before but whoever so and so is, he did a good job with a creepy bargain with the devil episode which features the seldom seen but always welcome Lori Petty.

A young girl who is the outcast of her school gets kidnapped on the way home and wakes up in a house in the country where she is tossed in the basement. She finds that there is a young boy there who can’t remember who he is. Gradually the girl figures that she will be served up to something to pay the price for the boy’s return from the dead for the grieving parents upstairs.

The demon or whatever is suitably creepy. And it was great when its arms could reach around corners and deep into the pipes as the girl tried desperately to get away. One of the few scary episodes of this anthology so far. Bravo. Some of the other masters could learn a thing or two from this one.
