FANGORIA'S WEEKEND OF HORRORS - BURBANK, CA - JUNE 2005

Way down near the Burbank airport there was a horror-fest of sorts that lasted an entire weekend. What, you may ask was this event? Why, it was Creation Entertainment and Fangoria Magazines love child “Fango”!

Tons of fans, lots of movie panels and a substantial amount of giveaways were had and although a bit over-priced, this wasn’t a bad local show.

The dealer room was constantly filled to capacity with fans purchasing autographs from the likes of Sid Haig, Bill Moseley and Matt McGrory and also getting the latest ‘buzz’ on Lion’s Gates Films newest release High Tension as well as the upcoming The Devil’s Rejects at their HUGE corner booth where they were giving away everything from posters to t-shirts to beach towels.

Roaming among the fans were the likes of John Gulager-from Project Greenlight and director of “Feast”, Wayne Toth-make-up and special effects wizard extraordinaire and also John Landis-Director of American Werewolf in London.

A weekend jam-packed with things to do and people to see, I can honestly say that I had a great time.
