TOM SAVINI'S CHILL FACTOR - "HOUSECALL"

Chill Factor is Tom Savini’s indie horror anthology series which so far has produced this one episode. A werewolf story set in the 1800’s or something like that, the short is surprisingly effective despite the micro budget. Nice production value and costumes and such.

While I understand that this was shot essentially as a student film almost using members of Tom Savini’s seminars, it serves as a launching pad for an anthology which holds great promise. It is seldom that a school actually attempts to make things for commercial release. Hopefully Tom will make more and attract bigger budgets. The eager young minds along side Tom will be able to rise to new heights. Here’s hoping.
